Brief Bio

I was born in Denver, Colorado, USA and I was raised in the Denver metropolitan area, living in a couple of the surburbs (Lakewood and what is now known as Centennial). After winding through the Littleton Public School system, I graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1999. I then headed off to the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY (in the western part of New York state). After four years there, I graduated with a BA in Linguistics. Most recently, I have moved to California and am now in the PhD program in Linguistics at Stanford University (See my work page for more).

For further biographical details about me related to particular interests of mine, see this page (for conlanging/linguistics) and this page (for music)
